Wednesday, August 1: Nashua to Litchfield (7.1 miles)
Individuals Making a Difference

  • 8:00 – 9:00 am: Registration for walkers at Nashua City Hall
  • 9:00 am: send-off from Nashua City Hall with Mayor Bernie Streeter and Rev. Margaret Bullitt-Jonas from the Interfaith Climate Walk
  • 9:30 am – 5:30 pm: walk from Nashua to Litchfield
  • 5:30 pm: evening program in at the Nesenkeag Coop Farm, Litchfield / speeches by Eero Ruuttila, manager of Nesenkeag Coop Farm, and Bill McKibben, author and organizer of Step It Up 2007


Thursday, August 2: Litchfield to Manchester (12.3 miles) Businesses Taking the Lead

  • 8:00 – 9:00 am: Registration for walkers at Nesenkeag Coop Farm
  • 9:00 am – 6:00 pm: walk from Litchfield to Manchester
  • 7:00 pm: evening program in Bronstein Park, Manchester / music by The Powderkegs / speeches by business and community leaders


Friday, August 3: Manchester to Hooksett (9.6 miles)

Sunday, August 5: Pembroke to Concord (4 miles)
National Action

  • 9:30 – 11:00 am: Rally-goers meet and register at Terrill Park, Concord
  • 11:00 am: Marchers arrive at Terrill Park from Pembroke
  • 11:30 am – 12:30 pm: Final march into Concord (1.2 miles) / drums, costumes, banners encouraged!
  • 12:00 – 3:30 pm: RALLY on the State House Lawn, Concord / music by local bluegrass, Club D'Elf, and AmPm (NH's best college band of 2007) / speeches by Fred Small, Religious Witness for the Earth; Jared Duval, National Director of the Sierra Student Coalition; and Bill McKibben, author and organizer of Step It Up 2007
